Vous n'avez qu'à vous présenter et l'atelier est au coût de 5$ et sont gratuit pour les étudiant.e.s au secondaire et pour les étudiant.e.s diplômé.e.s à uOttawa. Amenez vos propres matériaux.

Oh, what news we have!

Atelier Denu started in 2010 as a life drawing workshop run out of the University of Ottawa, with the lofty goal to train its members in life drawing and other figurative art, to train its members in storyboarding and other sequential art, to develop professional competencies for models, to organise illustrators and models in solidarity, to promote figurative and sequential art to a broad public, to work with other progressive organisations to achieve social justice, and to host special events on- and off-campus.

The workshop expanded to offer programming at the Sandy Hill Community Centre and at l’Université du Québec en Outaouais, at the uOttawa GSAÉD Grad House, and in salon-format activities run out of members’ homes.

This summer, Atelier Denu is producing a play for the Ottawa Fringe Festival. The working title is “Art Class in Session. Nude Model. Please Knock.” As we learned today, the show will run from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 26 at the Studio Léonard-Beaulne at the University of Ottawa.

We are excited for this new chapter in our artistic development and will keep you abreast of news and special events in this regard.

Cet automne, nous offrons des ateliers de dessin d'après modèle vivant les vendredis de 19h00 à 21h00 dans la salle 320 du pavillon Laurier (100 Laurier) à l'Université d'Ottawa ainsi que les lundis de 19h00 à 21h00 dans la salle C-0120 du pavillon Lucien-Brault (101, rue St-Jean-Bosco) à l'Université du Québec en Outaouais. 

Vous n'avez qu'à vous présenter et l'atelier est au coût de 5$ et sont gratuit pour les étudiants au secondaire. Amenez vos propres matériaux. Les portes seront ouvertes jusqu'à 19h00. Arrivez à l'heure.

On est fier d'annoncer que l'on offre cet été une nouvelle initiative, POS3S, des ateliers de dessin d'après modèle vivant les mardis de 18h00 à 20h30 du 26 juin au 4 septembre à Centre communautaire Côte-de-sable, où vous n'avez qu'à vous présenter. Amenez vos propres matériaux. 

L'atelier consiste en trois poses d'une durée de 30, 45 et 60 minutes. Profitez-en pour faire des œuvres plus complètes ou pour travailler avec des matériaux éxigeant plus de temps.

L'atelier est au coût de quatre dollars par séance. Tout étudiant au secondaire peut y assister gratuitement. 

La bénéfice de ces ateliers va au Groupe de recherche de l'intérêt public d'Ontario (GRIPO-Ottawa) pour alimenter son Centre de ressources. Pour plus d'informations sur cet organisme, veuillez consulter www.opirg-gripo.ca

We are proud to announce that this summer we are offering a new initiative: POS3S, drop-in life drawing workshops on Tuesdays from 18:00 to 20:30 from June 26 to September 4 in the Sandy Hill Community Centre. Bring your own materials.

Our workshop consists of three poses lasting 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Take advantage of the longer time to create more completed works or to work with materials requiring more time.

The workshop costs four dollars per session. All secondary school students attend free of charge.

Profits of these workshops go toward the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG-Ottawa) to add to the collections in its resource centre. For more information on this organisation, please visit www.opirg-gripo.ca
